Company History

Frederick Block Company, a third-generation family run business, first started in 1967 by selling cinder blocks and mortar. Over the past 40 years, the product line has expanded to include brick, natural stone, manufactured stone, landscaping products and so much more. In 2002, our name expanded to Frederick Block, Brick & Stone (FBBS) to better capture the wide variety of products sold. Today, FBBS strives to be innovative and offer the most relevant masonry products to today’s building industry.

FBBS has always taken pride in offering quality supported by a knowledgeable sales staff that focuses on providing a positive customer experience. These goals continue to be at the heart of our organization. To accommodate changes in the marketplace and to offer a better experience for our customers, a new office building, showroom and warehouse were constructed in 2005. Shortly thereafter, an outdoor display was started and will be continually updated as new products become available. Although the office and showroom may look quite different than the small house where the company got its start, the personal service and friendly atmosphere remains the same.
